We can help you achieve the results you desire through the following services:
- Periodontics (Cleanings & Gum Surgery)
- Periodontal (gum/bone) disease is the leading cause of tooth loss in adults. If left untreated, the disease is irreversible and can result in tooth loss. Detection and diagnosis of periodontal disease is the key to prevention.
- Operative Dentistry (Fillings, Inlays and Onlays)
- Over your lifetime, fillings may be replaced due to recurrent decay or fracture of the filling or tooth. Each time the old filling is removed and any decay with it the restoration becomes larger with less remaining tooth structure to retain the new restoration. When there is insufficient tooth structure to retain a new filling other treatments may become necessary to allow proper function of the tooth. There are various treatments that are dependent on how much tooth structure remains, including; bonded fillings, inlays, and onlays.
- Children's Dentistry
- Our dental clinic is designed to help children feel at home and comfortable, and our experienced dental staff are trained to respond to the special concerns and needs of our patients. Children are offered the opportunity to see, touch and operate all of the dental equipment. The total care your child receives in our department will serve as a motivating force, promoting good oral health habits that can be maintained for a lifetime.
- Oral Surgery
- Oral surgery covers any treatment which involves the removal or repositioning of oral tissues. It could be from a single tooth removal to jaw repositioning, by using techniques such as extractions, wisdom teeth removal, and tooth preparation for prosthodontics.
- Prosthodontics (Crowns, Bridges and Dentures)
- Prosthodontics are used when teeth are broken down or missing, causing problems in both the bite and appearance of the mouth. The most common solutions to these problems employ crowns, bridges, or dentures to augment, or replace, the teeth in your mouth. Restoration is usually so successful that others cannot visually discern restored teeth from real teeth. We even provide Cerec single visit ceramic fillings and crowns.
- Orthodontics
- Orthodontics focuses on diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of dental and facial irregularities by repairing 'bad bites'. The practice of orthodontics requires extensive professional skill in the design, application, and control of corrective appliances (braces) to bring teeth, lips, and jaws into proper alignment and achieve optimum facial balance.
- Implants placement and restoration
- Dental implants are the newest and most permanent way to replace missing teeth. Implants are basically artificial teeth roots that are surgically placed into the jaw bone. For more information, see the Dental Implant Centre.
- Endodontics (Root Canal)
- If your tooth's nerve chamber becomes infected by decay or damaged by trauma, root canal treatment is often the only way to save your tooth, cleaning out the infected pulp chamber and repairs the damage.
